"Pedro" Bell, 72, died Saturday, April 30, 2005, at his home in Liberal. He was born Jan. 6, 1933, to John and Rosa Taylor Bell at Pawnee, Okla. He married Janice Banister on Jan. 24, 1958, in Hugoton. She survives. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War era. He worked in the pipeline industry until he retired in 1998. His hobbies included fishing and dancing. Other survivors include four sons, Chigger Bell, Liberal, Max Bell, DeBerque, Colo., Patrick Bell, Tyrone, Okla., and Chris Bell, Tucson, Okla.; nine grandchildren; one great-grandson; and one sister, Shirley Combest. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Mike; and two sisters, Ruthie Edwards and Bet Gentry. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Chapel. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens with military honors by Fort Riley Honor Guard.
