The Liberal Daily Democrat Seward County Monday December 20, 1920 Boring--Rowan. One of the prettiest weddings of the season occurred Sunday, December 19, when Miss Bessie BORING, daughter of Jake Boring, who resides south of Liberal, became the wife of Ople ROWAN. The wedding took place at the home of the groom's parents, the Rev. M.O. Wolfe of Liberal officiating. Only immediate members of the bridge and groom families and a few friends were present to witness the ceremony. The bride is a very charming and accomplished young lady and looked very beautiful in a dress of light blue satin. The groom wore the conventional black. After the wedding ceremony the guests were invited to the dining room where they partook of a big wedding dinner prepared by Mrs. Rowan, the groom's mother. A number of beautiful gifts were presented the newly weds. They will move to Liberal to make their home.
