The marriage of Miss Violet DECKER and Edard L. WOOD, both of Liberal, took place Sunday morning, July 16, at the home of the Reverend and Mrs. A. Albertson southwest of Liberal. Reveral Albertson, minister of the Friends church, preformed the ceremony. The guests at the wedding were, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Roeske, Miss Dorothy Littlefield and Fred Terrel. Mrs. Wood is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.W. DECKER fo 515 North Pershing avenue. he graduated from Liberal high school with the class of 1936. Mr Wood is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben MARLATT of Amarillo, Texas, and is employed at a local cafe. Mr. and Mrs. Wood are making their home on South Washington avenue.
