The Liberal Daily Democrat Seward County Tuesday January 4, 1921 J.L. Wade and Verna Hayes Married In November. Kept Wedding a Secret Two Months--Former Seward County Teacher Resigns School. Miss Verna HAYES, former Seward County school teacher, and J.L. WADE, formerly linotype operator on the Daily Democrat, but now of Wichita, were married in this city, November 6th. Mrs. Wade left for Wichita last week, where she will make her home. The wedding took place before Mr. and Mrs. Wade left Liberal in November, but the marriage was kept a secret for two months. The Democrat extends congratulations.
