McNew--Wheeler.

Miss Gertrude McNEW of Lorena daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.B. McNew, and Lyle
WHEELER, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wheeler were married at the court house yesterday
afternoon, December 15, by Judge Campbell, relatives being present to witness
the ceremony.

Both young people are well known in the city and popular in the Lorena
neighborhood where they reside. 

A big dinner was served at the McNew home last night in honor of the event and
tonight Mr. and Mrs. Wheeler are giving a party for the newly weds.

Mr. and Mrs. Wheeler will reside on a farm in the Lorena community.
The Democrat joins their many friends in wishing them a happy married life.
