The Liberal Leader

William A. WELLMAN, one of the young men engaged at the Arkalon Sugar Mill,
concluded last week that it wasn't good for a man to live alone, and accordingly
he came up to Liberal last Sunday where he was married by Police Judge
WILLSTAEDT to Miss Mattie L. POTTER, a beautiful and estimable young lady of
Arkalon. The bride's brother, Mr. Fred Potter of Arkalon, and his wife acting as
best man and brides-maid, and Mr. R.J. Beauchamp and several other citizens
witnessed the ceremony. We wish the young couple an abundant measure of
happiness and hope they will enjoy a long life of success and prosperity.
