Miss Lillian WALKER of Birmingham, Alabama, and Arthur SCHULTE of Kansas City, were united in marriage at the courthouse in Liberal Monday evening, June 26, Mrs. Avis King Lacy, probate judge pro tme performing the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.W. Walker, who have resided in Liberal since the Rock Island bridge was under construction, Mr. Walker being with the bridge company. Mr. and Mrs. Schulte left on a honeymoon trip to Kansas City after which they will go to Rulo, Nebraska, to make their home. Guests at the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Sam Yerby, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Clapper, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Yerby, and Mr. Rex Yerby. After the ceremony a reception was given for the young couple at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Yerby at the Hettic apartments.
