Special to the Capital Atchison, Kan. May 2 An old lady fell from a Missouri Pacific train here tonight and was fatally injured. She is unable to give her name. She had in her pocket a railroad ticket from Kansas City to Shannon, Kan., and a paper marked "M. Osborn". ~~~~%*** ~ ***%~~~~ ~~~~%*** ~ ***%~~~~ Topeka Daily Capital, Thursday, May 7, 1891 p.8 "Died of her Injuries" Atchison Kan. May 6 Mrs. Rebecca Osborn, the old lady who was injured Saturday night died at the Byram Hotel this morning without having regained conciousness. Mrs. Osborn was 73 years of age and had been a resident of Atchison county for nearly 40 years. She leaves an estate worth about fifty thousand dollars. Her son and daughter, Morgan Osborn, a wealthy farmer of this county, and Mrs. M. C. Hawthorn of Kansas City, were with her when she died.
