Mrs. Helen ADAM, 84, 421 Polk, died at her home Monday evening after a long illness. She was born Dec. 31, 1880 at Mount Olive, Ill. She had lived in Topeka since 1909. She was a life long member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She and her husband, Emil H. Adam, celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary in February. Survivors include her husband, of the home; one son, Walter E. Adam, Midwest City, Okla.; four daughters, Mrs. Helen GUENTHER, Breckenridge, Okla.; Mrs. Emma GUNTHER, 1265 Polk, Mrs. Amanda DICK, 616 Taylor, Miss Frances Adam, of the home; one sister, Mrs. Frieda ZACHAU, Dwight, Ill.; five grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are pending at Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary.
