A one-time riverboat captain on the Osage River in Missouri, John William ADCOCK, 93, of 2208 MacVicar, died Saturday in a Jefferson City, Mo., hospital. He made his home with a daughter, Mrs. H.R. DUNNAWAY, for about 10 years. Mr. Adcock was born Sept. 16, 1867, at Eldon, Mo., and married Ida May THOMSON May 28, 1899. She died Sept. 22, 1936. In addition to his daughter, a brother, John F. Adcock of Jefferson City, and four grandchildren survive.
