John R. Alsop.
John R. ALSOP died at his home in Wakefield Tuesday. Mr. Alsop was born in 1868,
and came to America with his parents in 1870. The family settled immediately at
Wakefield.
Surviving are his wife; three daugthers, Mrs. Mildred WILLIAMS of Pearl Harbor,
Hawaii, Mrs. Gwen KINCAID of Hyattsvile, Md., and Mrs. Helen SCHAULIS of Clay
Center; eight grandchildren; one brother, Edward Alsop of Wakefield; and one
sister, Mrs. W.B. DALTON, of Topeka.
Funeral services will be held in Wakefield Friday.
