Ex-Resident Is Dead at 77; Rites Pending.
Lyndon.--Mrs. Florence ATHON, 77, formerly of Topeka, died Wednesday morning in
a rest home.
She was born Dec. 18, 1887, in Quenemo, Kan., and had lived in Topeka for 15
years before entering the rest home.
Survivors include two sons, Cloyce L. ATHON, Marysville, and John R. ATHON,
Overbrook; a daughter, Mrs. Bernice PURDY, 3345 California, Topeka; 12
granddchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sister, Mrs. Lucille BROOKS,
Michigan Valley, and Mrs. Lora LEONARD, Quenomo; and a brother, William
DAVIDSON, Quenomo.
Services will be announced by the Baker Funeral Home, Overbrook.
