Prominent for Years in Lodge, Musical Circles. Heart Attack Proves Fatal While He Is Teaching Sunday School Class. George William ADAMSON, 64, president of the Topeka Modoca club and prominent in musical and lodge circles, died yesterday while teaching his Sunday school class at the Third Presbyterian church. He suddenly lapsed into unconsciousness and died befoe medical attention could be administered. Mr. ADAMSON was born in Spennymoore, County of Durham, England, June 15, 1869, and came to the United States when he was 19 years old. He was married to Anna E. PARRISH in 1894, the year he settled in Topeka. His home was at 331 Chandler street. He was a member of the United Presbyterian church, topeka lodge No. 17, A.F.& A.M., the Yorkrite and Scottish Rite bodies, the Eastern Star, Sunflower Camp No. 536, M.W.A., the Mackabees. he had been a member of the Modocs for many years and was president at the time of his death. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. LaVon ARMENDARIZ, Topeka; Mrs. D.O. TURMAN, Springfield, Mo., and Mrs. R.N. McKITTERICK, Emporia; three grandchildren, Dorothy Jane ARMENDARIZ; Majorie Jane McKITTERICK and Robert N. McKITTTERICK, jr.; and a brother, Robert ADAMSON, San Francisco, Calif.
