Barr. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Westmoreland Methodist Church for Dane William BARR, 42, Whiting, who was killed in a two-car accident about six miles south of Holton on US-75 at dusk Wednesday. He was born Dec. 22, 1922 at Westmoreland and grew up in the Westmoreland community. He lived near Topeka seven years and lived near Whiting the past nine years. He was a farmer and had worked at the Sears store in Topeka, the pat year and a half. He was a veteran of World War II and was a member of the Methodist Church at Westmoreland. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Eunice Barr, of the home; a daughter, Patricia Ann Barr, of the home; two sons, Robert Deane Barr and Randall Carroll Barr, both of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Caroll F. Barr, Westmoreland a sister, Mrs. Esther CHILCOAT, Bartlesville, Okla.; two brothrs, Gilbert Barr, Felton, Del., and Verne Barr, Los Gatos, Calif.; three half-brothers, Bernard Barr, Route 8, Maurice Barr, Liberal and Robert Barr, 2221 Hazelton Court; and a half-sister, Mrs. Elaine WILSON, Route Tecumseh. Burial will be in Westmoreland Cemetery.
