Horace N. BEAN, 70, a resident of Topeka since 1943, died Friday in a Topeka hospital. He was born Sept. 10, 1890 at Auburn and was a warehouseman for the U.S. Air Force Supply Depot unitl his retirement in 1957. He was a member of the Christian Church of Osage City. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Marvin CARR of 1918 Wilcox Court, Miss Patricia Bean of 900 Washburn, and Mrs. Curtis WHITE of 4614 Topeka; one son, Harold Bean of Osage City; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Helen NUSBAUM of 135 N. Quinton, Mrs. Betty THOMPSON of Route 4, and Mrs. Sarah FULLER of 2305 Mission; four stepsons, Harry MARN of Wichita; Charles Marn of Mobile, Ala., Howard Marn of 135 S. Quinton and Wilbur Marn of 447 Arter; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Earl Bean of 1027 Madison, Ernest Bean of Richland and Alva Bean of 330 Grattan; four sisters, Mrs. Effie HOY of Wakarusa, Edna BLOCHER of 509 Buchanan, Mrs. Ella MANLEY of 1125 N. Michigan, and Mrs. Eunice GILLISPIE of 320 Leland.
