Brunt Dies; Manager of Scrap Firm. Harlan H. BRUNT, 64, manager of Dyal Bros. & Co., Topeka scrap dealers, died unexpectedly Wednesday night in Arizona. He was in his return trip from California when stricken with a fatal hear attack. He had been suffering from a heart ailment for more than a year, according to his brother-in-law, Ed HOSSFELD, 435 Lafayette. Mr. Brunt was born at Lincoln, Kan., and had been a resident of Topeka since he was a boy. After completing his schooling, he became associated with his uncle, John Brunt, in a drug store at Sixth and Jackson. Later, the store was moved to the 700 block on Kansas Avenue. He had been manager of Dyal Bros. & Co. for the last 10 years. He and his wife, Mrs. Edith Brunt, left Topeka about six week ago to visit their son, H.H. Brunt Jr., in Glendale, Calif. He was a member of the Topeka Masonic bodies, the Arab Shrine and the Men's Fellowship Class. His wife, son and uncle survive. His uncle, John Brunt, is spending the winter in Hawaii.
