The Topeka Daily State Journal, Tuesday, September 9, 1919
Mrs. Emeline BUCHANAN, age 50, died Monday afternoon at her home, 711 West
Gordon street. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from
the A.M.E. church. The services will be in charge of Benevolent lodge No. 3, and
the Bethany chapter, No. 7, Order of the Eastern Star. Burial in Mt. Auburn
cemetery.
