Mitchell Bundy Served 37 Years As Peace Officer Here. Mitchell BUNDY, 75, who had served 37 years on the Topeka police and county sheriff forces, died last night at his home, 734 Leland street. His son, Clarence BUNDY, is now a lieutenant on the force. BUNDY was born in Mount Pleasant, O., February 14, 1859. He came to Kansas in 1877. He was a veteran of the Spanish-American war, serving with the Twentieth Kansas regiment. Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Minnie BUNDY; two daughters, Mrs. Walker LINN, Berrtyon, Kan.; and Mrs. J.J. HUTTON, Kansas City, Mo.; two sons, Clarence BUNDY and Nels BUNDY Topeka; two brothers, Edward BUNDY and Paul BUNDY, Auburn, Kan.; a niece, Mrs. Beulah GILLARD, Topeka; and 12 grandchildren. Funeral services will be at the Wall-Diffenderfer mortuary Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock.
