Silas Caywood.
Silas CAYWOOD, 73, of Cherokee, Okla., a retired Santa Fe foreman, died Monday
in a Topeka hospital. He was born in Ewing, Ky., and had made his home in
Cherokee 21 years. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mary HORTON of Topeka and Mrs. Eva
McDOWELL, Cherokee; sons, Elzay Caywood, Forgam, Okla.; Everett and Harold
Caywood, Cherokee; and Alva Caywood, Goddard, Kan.; a sister, Mrs. Inez FAIR,
Alden, Kan.
