William Chance.
William CHANCE, 81, of Soldier, died in a Holton hospital Saturday morning. He
had lived in and around Soldier the past 50 years. 
He is survived by his wife, Nellie; six children, Mrs. Jim SCOTT of Soldier;
Mrs. Leslie JONES of Tayette, Idaho; Clifford Chance of Havensville; Mrs. James
DAILY of Havensville; Ralph Chance of Topeka, and Mrs. Elivin COLLINS, of
Liberty, Mo.; 18 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Christian Church in
Soldier. Burial will be the American City Cemetery.
