Charles A. Coon.
Charles A. COON, 87, retired contractor, died Sunday at his home, 1911 Western.
He was born December 1, 1859, in Ohio and had been a resident of Topeka 41 years.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Mary Frances Coon, of the home; two sons, George Coon,
Topeka and William Coon, Long Beach, Calif.; eight daughters, Mrs. Nat BRIGGS,
Scranton, Mrs. Harry HARRIS, Burbank, Calif., Mrs. Ruth DOWERS, Muncie, Kan.,
Mrs. Viola DENSLOW, Portland, Ore., Mrs. Opal DELBERT, Portland, Ore., Mrs.
Jewell MERCER, St. Joseph, Mo., and Mrs. Amy HORSENS, Long Beach, Calif.; and 29
grandchildren.
