Mrs. Malina J. Copeland.
Mrs. Malina J. COPELAND, 73, died Wednesday at her home, 312 East Seventeenth.
She was born May 8, 1874, in Crocker, Mo. She had been a resident here 23 years.
She was a member of the First Christian Church.
Surviving are her husband, Samuel P. Copeland; five sons, T.W. Copeland of St.
Louis, J.H. Copeland of Webster Grove, Mo., William E. Copeland and Albert of
Topeka, and Glenwood of the home; four daughters, Mrs. A.B. THORNSBERRY of
Hancock, Mo., Mrs. Daniel BAIR of Topeka, Mrs. Floyd A. McQUEEN of Topeka and
Mrs. William SULLIVAN of St. Louis; a brother, J. E. BATES of Webster Grove,
Mo.; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Crocker, Mo.
