John Carlson.

Wamego--John CARLSON, 87, died Thursday at a hospital here. 

He was born March 30, 1877 at Stockholm, Sweden, and moved to St. Marys 
with his parents when he was six years old. He spent most of his life 
in the bridge and concrete contracting business.

He was married to Ida Belle PALMER of St. Marys in 1929 in Topeka. She 
died Nov. 27, 1960.

Survivors include a brother, Elbert CARLSON, Gold Bar, Wash. 

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Verschelden Funeral Home at St. 
Marys with burial in St. Clere Cemetery at Emmett.
