Deeringer. Charlie Edward DEERINGER, 71, died unexpectedly at his home in North Topeka, Saturday. Mr. Deeringer was born in Iowa and moved with his parents to Nortonville when he was a child. In 1922, he moved to the Fairview community, where he had been a resident for the past 25 years. He was a farmer and dairyman and a member of the Pleasant Hill Christian Church in Nortonville. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Iva Deeringer; a daughter, Mrs. Gladys HANDLEY of Topeka; two sisters, Mrs. George GOODPASTURE of Atchinson and Mrs. Ed. BIDDING; two brothers, Ronald of Kansas City, Mo., and Frank of St. Joseph, Mo., and six grandchildren.
