Anna L. Deskins.
Mrs. Anna Laura DESKINS, 91, 821 Jefferson, died Thursday evening in a rest home
at Lawrence.
She was born March 20, 1869, at Chillicothe, Ohio and came to Kansas with her
parents when she was 12. 
She is survived by two sons, Donald C. Deskins, of Truckee, Calif., and Clarence
Deskins, of Louisville, Ky.; four daughters, Mrs. Hulda WOOD, 2718 Schuler; Mrs.
george LEAMAN and MRs. Edith McMANIS, both of Lawrence, and Mrs. Lillian OLIVER
of Rough and Ready, Calif.; 16 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and six
great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Rumsey Funeral Home at Lawrence with
burial in the Clinton Cemetery.
