Sgt. Talmadge L. Evans.

Sgt. Talmadge Leroy EVANS, 20, died Saturday in a Topeka hospital after an
illness of four months. He was born June 26, 1930, in Hartwell County, Georgia,
and was on active duty with the U.S. Air Force. He had been stationed at
Shreveport, La., before coming to Topeka. He was the son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs.
Glenn LEWIS, 427 Lafayette.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. LaRita Lewis Evans, 427 Lafayette; a son, Talmadge
Craig Evans, of the home; his mother, Mrs. Maggie VICKERY, Anderson, S.C.; six
sisters and one niece and one nephew.
