Ora M. Evans Dies at 78; Rites Monday.
Osage City.--Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at McElfresh and Son Mortuary
here for Mrs. Ora M. EVANS, 78, Emporia, who died Friday in an Emporia hospital
after a long illness. Burial will be in Osage City Cemetery.
She was born Jan. 2, 1887, at Osage City and spent most of her life in Osage
County before moving to Emporia 14 years ago.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Delores LANZRATH, of the home; Mrs.
Rowena EWING, Tiburon, Callif.; Mrs. Vivian SCHEEL, Carrollton, Mo.; and Mrs.
Lura ROMARY, Englewood, Colo.; three sons, Jesses EVANS, Santa Rosa, Calif.,
Gerald Evans, Willits, Calif., and Alan Evans, Walnut, Calif.; a half-brother,
Dave KIBBE, California; 25 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
