Mrs. Amanda B. EVANS, 74, a resident of Topeka 55 years, died at her home, 627 Madison street, last night. She was born in Kewanna, Ind., January 18, 1860. She had been ill for the past three years. She was a member of the Third Presbyterian church; Capitola Rebekah lodge, No. 219; Pythian Sisters, No. 2; Helena chapter, O.E.S., No. 210; Woman's Relief Corps, No. 94; Security Benefit Association, No. 1; and Pocahontas, No. 77. She is survived by three children, Mrs. Edna BROWN, Edison, Kan.; Mrs. Emma SPENCER, Topeka; and W.S. EVANS, Topeka; a brother, Jerome HARRIS, Kewanna, Ind., three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
