Charles C. Grant.
Charles Claybourne GRANT, 73, died Wednesday at his home, 2201 Jefferson. He was
born March 1, 1878, in Platte County, Missouri, and had made his home in Topeka
33 years. He was a retired farmer and a former carpenter for the Santa Fe
Railroad Co. He was a member of the Charitable Church of God.
He is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Regina FREY, Mrs. Charline ROBINSON, and
MRs. Pauline CURLS, all of Topeka; Mrs. Beaulah HENDERSON and Mrs. Pohelia ELY,
both of Chicago; two sons, Erthel and Napolean GRANT, both of Topeka; 20
grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
