Meyer GARTNER, 47, former Topekan, died unexpectedly Tuesday in Shreveport, La. He was born February 10, 1904, in New York City and moved to Topeka with his parents when he was a small boy. He attended the Topeka public schools and later was associated in business with his brother, Abe GARTNER of the GARTNER Loan Office. He moved to Shreveport eight years ago. He was a veteran of World War II and was a member of Topeka Lodge No. 17, A.F. & A.M., the Scottish Rite Bodies and the Arab Shrine.
