Funeral services for John Robert GORDON, 82, who died Thursday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Harvey SMITH, 302 North Chandler Street, will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary. Burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery. He was born in Butler County, Pa., February 15, 1857, came to Kansas City in 1996, farmed in Missouri for many years, but had made his home in Topeka and vicinity for seventeen years. He was a member of the North Topeka Baptist Church. Surviving are five sons, Charles F. GORDON, Portland, Ore., Robert L. GORDON, Pueblo, Colo.; Herschel T. GORDON, Bakersfield, Calif.; Paul L. GORDON, New York City, and Roy T.
