John Griley, 70, Had Resided in Topeka for 40 Years. John GRILEY, 70, a retired barber, died last night at his home, 828 Quincy. He had been a resident of Topeka for 40 years and at one time operated the old Capital Barber shop, located where the present Cozy theater stands. he was born in Dresden, Ohio, in 1857. Surviving him are: his wife, Mrs. Kate GRILEY; one daughter, Maybelle GRILEY, and two sons, Walter GRILEY and Willard GRILEY, all of the home address; four brothers, P.J. GRILEY, Detroit Frank GRILEY, Cincinnati, George GRILEY and N.M. GRILEY, Los Angeles, and three sistes, Mrs. Kate CHRIST, Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Lena MICHAEL, Zanesville, Ohio, and Mrs. Anna SPURLOCK, Topeka.
