James Russell HAMILTON, 54, of 2735 East Dudley, died Sunday in a Topeka hospital. He was born February 28, 1897, in Topeka and had lived in Topeka his entire life. After World War I, had broken out, he enlisted in the medical detachment of the 130th Field Artillery and served overseas in that 35th Division unit. He was executive in charge of incoming mail for the State Commission of Revenue and Taxation. He was a member of the Golden Rule Lodge No. 90, A.F.& A.M., the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eunice Hamilton of the home; a son, James R. Hamilton Jr., of Paris, France; two sisters, Miss Grace M. Hamilton, Topeka and Mrs. C.W.
