Hedrix. Services are pending for C.E. HEDRIX, 91, former superintendent of the central division of the Union Pacific Railroad, who died Tuesday in a Marysville hospital. Mr. Hedrix's association with railroads began in July 1888, when he was employed by the St. Joseph and Grand Island Railroad, now a part of the Union Pacific. He became assistant superintendent of the Kansas division in 1916 and was superintendent of the central division form July, 1918 unitl it was abolished in 1933. Since his retirement in May 1935, Mr. Hedrix has lived in Marysville. Surivors include one daughter, Mrs. J.F. SHULTE of Marysville.
