Mrs. Winnifred May HICKS, 64, died Friday at her home, 215 East Eleventh, after several months illness. Mrs. Hicks was born in Tecumseh, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.A. KEARNEY, pioneer residents of Kansas. She was a member of the First Methodist Church and the Woman's Society of Chritian Service in Topeka, and the Social Service Club of Tecumseh. Suriving are her husband, Elmer J. HICKS; two sons, Norman E. MOHNEY, and Dale D. HICKS, of Topeka and a brother, Andrew G. KEARNEY of Topeka. Funeral services will be held Monday at the Penwell-Chapel at 1:30 p.m. and burial will take place in the Topeka Cemetery.
