The Topeka Daily Capital

This is a correction by the Topeka Daily Capital of the obituary they ran of
Mrs. Hopkins on April 28, 1947 in which they had her brothers names as Hopkins
and should have been SMITH.

Mrs. Nellie E. Hopkins.
Mrs. Nellie E. HOPKINS, 43, died Sunday at her home, 818 North Quincy. She was
born Nov. 18, 1903, in Jackson County, and had been a resident of Topeka for the
past 33 years. She was a member of the North Topeka Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Robert Hopkins, Whittier, Calif., Eugene Hopkins
and Marlin Hopkins of the home; a daughter, Miss Shirley Ann Hopkins of the
home; her mother, Mrs. William H. SMITH, Topeka; three brothers, B. J. SMITH and
Vern SMITH of Topeka, Chester SMITH, Oregon City, Ore. 
Parkers's Mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangements.
