Deaths and Funerals.

HOUSTON--Miss Anna HOUSTON died Thursday at 12:30 o'clock at the home of her
sister, Mrs. Luke F. PARSONS at Salina. She was a daughter of Dexter Houston, a
member of the first territorial ligislature and register of the United States
Land office at Abilene, at Junction City and at Wakeeney in the early days. Miss
Houston had made her home with Mrs. Parsons for many years. SHe was an aunt of
Mrs. Con VanNATTA of Topeka.
