Prominent Kansas Pioneer Was Father of State Fire Marshal. Lew T. HUSSEY, state fire marshal, was called to Williamsburg, yesterday by the death of his father, Jerry HUSSEY, aged 75 years. Jerry Hussey had been a resident of the Williamsburg community fifty-one years--was the oldest resident of the community. He served four years in the Civil war and from 1888 to 1892 was register of deeds of Osage county. He was prominent in local politics, G.A.R. and lodge circles. Besides his son, Lew, the state fire marshal, Jerry Hussey is survived by his wife and a daughter, Mary, of Williamsburg. Miss Hussey is a graduate of Washburn college.
