Mrs. Mabel Edith HARVEY, 76, died Wednesday ngiht at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert MARKHAM in Soldier. She was born February 17, 1878, in Kalamazoo, Mich., and lived in the Corning community about 20 years before moving to Martinez, Calif. She returned to Kansas about six months ago to live with her children in Jackson County. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge in California. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. MARKHAM of Soldier; Mrs. George COSAD, of Mayetta, and Mrs. Mildred BUNDS of Salem, Ore.; two sons, Fred MILES of Los Angeles, Calif., and Dr. Francis MILES, of Spartanburg, S.C.; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
