Hoffman. Samuel K. HOFFMAN, 82, of 2206 Hazelton Court, died Tuesday in a Topeka hospital. He was born September 20, 1875, at Libertyville, Iowa, and lived in Horton 30 years before moving to Topeka six years ago. He was a retired Rock Island boilermaker, and a member of the IOOF Lodge at Horton. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Bessie HOFFMAN, of the home; five daughters, Mrs. Calvin COOK of the home; Mrs. O.B. LIX, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. George PAXTON, Cheyenne, Wyo.; Mrs. Ernest CORNELL, Kansas City, Kan., and Mrs. Edward MARTIN, Towanda, Ill.; a son, Forrest A. HOFFMAN, Kansas City, Mo.; a brother, Frank HOFFMAN, Fairfield, Iowa; a sister, Mrs. Sarah McCLEARY, Fairfield, Iowa; 13 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
