Iwig. William C. IWIG, 83, died Sunday morning at his home south of Tecumseh. He was born November 13, 1868, near Peoria, Ill., and came to Kansas when he was 25 years old. He had lived on a farm south of Tecumseh 42 years. He was a member of the Grace Evangelical United Bretheren Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Iwig, of the home; four daughters, Mrs. Alberta BACON and Mrs. Amelia BACON, both of Tecumseh, Mrs. Dorothy METZGER, Route 6, North Topeka, and Mrs. Mildred SHUMATE, Holton; three sons Daniel, Clifford and Warren Iwig, all of Tecumseh; four sisters, Mrs. Anna KEIL of Wichita, Mrs. Mary Eberhart of Santa Ana, Calif., Mrs. Dora WOHLER of Clay Center, and Mrs. Sarah HERSCHELL of Lawrence; a brother, Sam Iwig, Topeka; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. ==== KS-FOOTSTEPS Mailing List ==== File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ks/shawnee/obits/i/iwig714gob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/ksfiles/ File size: 1.5 Kb
