Mrs. Alice B. Imes Dies in Topeka at 98.

Mrs. Alice B. IMES, 98, died Monday at the Methodist Home for the Aged. She was
born November 27, 1855 in McDonald County, Illinois, and came to Kansas in the
early 1880's. She moved to Topeka in 1941. She was a member of the Effingham
Methodist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Francis JONES, of Effingham; a son, Harold
OSBORN, Lafayette, Ind.; a stepson, Oliver JONES, High Hill, Mo.; six
granchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Miss Marie CLUGSTEN,
Joliet, Ill. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Methodist Home
for the Aged adn at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Byrd Funeral Home in El Dorado. 
Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery at El Dorado.
