Edminston (Ed) JOHNSON, 64, 1220 Arter, died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born August 4, 1886, in Topeka and was employed as a machinist at the Santa Fe shops 40 years ago. After losing his eye sight, he was employed by the Beatrice Foods Company and the Morris Coal Company. He wa a member of Topeka lodge No. 1, IOOF, and a past noble grand. He was also a member of the Oakland Presbyterian church. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Clara JOHNSON, of the home; a nephew, William A.
