J. Leland "Lee" JOHNSON, 61, 2020 Lane, died Sunday morning in a Topeka hospital after a long illness. Mr. Johnson was born Oct. 6, 1906, in Beaver County, Okla. He had served as a distributor engineer for the Topeka Water Dept. He had been a member of American Society of Engineers, Kansas and Topeka chapters, American Water Works Assn., and Lowman Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Vera L. Johnson, of the home, and a son, Richard Johnson, Denver, Colo. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in Wall-Diffenderfer Chapel. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
