Samuel Joslin, 87, Came to Topeka in 1870. Topeka lost another pioneer Friday night in the death of Samuel JOSLIN, 87, at the home of his sone, Herbert C. Joslin, 735 Topeka avenue. He was one of the oldest machinists on the Santa Fe, having begun work for the railroad when he first came to Topeka in 1870. Eleven years ago he was pensioned and until last June lived in Worcester, Mass. He was the father of Charles Joslin, Topeka druggist. ============= Samuel JOSLIN, 87, died Friday at the home of his son, Herbert Joslin, 735 Topeka avenue. The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon from Penwell's chapel. Burial in Topeka cemetery.
