Phillip KETTER, 94, of St. Marys, a resident of St. Marys 34 years, died at the home of his son, Ambrose Ketter of St. Marys, after a brief illness. Born July 31, 1866 at Sheboygan, Wis., he came to Kansas with his parents at the age of 14, and the family settled in Kelly. In 1927 Mr. Ketter moved to the St. Marys community. He married the former Elizabeth HULF at St. Benedict in 1891. Mrs. Ketter died in 1933. Mr. Ketter is survived by three sons, Lawrence Ketter of Delia, and Ollie and Ambrose Ketter, both of St. Marys; a daughter, Mrs. John DeLEYE, of Emmett; five brothers, Pete and Joseph Ketter, both of Seneca, John Ketter of St. Francis, Henry Ketter of Wetmore, and Andrew Ketter of Falls City, Neb.; two sisters, Sister Mary Agebertha of the Bendictine Order of Atchison, and Mrs. Mary Eisanberth of Onaga; 23 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Services will be 8 a.m. Monday at the Immaculate Conception Church of St. Marys with burial in Bede's Cemetery at Kelly.
