Allen King, Lumber Company Official, Dies. J. Allen KING, 48, manager of the planing mill division of the Whelan Lumber Co., died Sunday night in a Topeka hospital. His home was at 2831 Wisconsin. He was born September 14, 1902 near Big Springs and had made his home in Topeka and vicinity most of his life. He was a member of the First Methodist Chruch and the Shawnee Country Club. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Esther I. KING of the home; two sons, Lawrence Eugene King of the home and Stuart A. King, Topeka; a daughter, Miss Carol Ann King, Topeka; and his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. G.W.
