C. Longaker Is Dead at 79; Rites Pending.

Charles W. LONGAKER of 441 Watson, 79-year-old retired farmer, died at home
Wednesday afternoon.

A native of Mission Center, he lived in Wabaunsee County for 36 years before
retiring to Topeka in 1950. He was a member of Wesleyan Methodist Church.
He leaves a widow, Eva; four daughters, Mrs. Ethyl STEWART, 230 Circle, Mrs.
Mary DEETER, route 5, Mrs. Mabel DIXON of Seattle, and Ruth of Winfield; two
sons, George of Tacoma, Wash., and Harold, 2918 E. 3rd; 12 grandchildren and six
great-grandchildren.

Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary is in charge of services.
Burial will be in Mission Center Cemetery.
