Obituary.
Robert D. LOVETT, was born at Fountain Green, Hancock County, Illinois, January
6, 1856 and departed this life at his home January 4, 1926 at the age of 69
years, 11 months and 29 days. He came to Kansas with his parents when a small
boy where he grew to manhood. After he grew up he went to Oregon where he spent
several years of his life. In 1914 he returned to Osage county where he
continued to reside until his death. He was a member of the Evangelical church
and lived until his death in that faith.
He leaves to cherish his memory eight brothers and and three sisters, W.H.
LOVETT, of Centropolis, Kansas, R.F. Lovett, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, T.F.
Lovett, of San Juan, Texas, John, Frank, Clarence,Herman, Ernest and Mrs. J.F.
JONES, Violett Lovett, and Mrs. Maud FRANKLIN of Melvern, besides several nieces
and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services were held from Lovett Bros.,
home on January 6th at 10 o'clock and interment made in Baldwin cemetery.
