Luscombe. Holton.--John H. LUSCOMBE, 65, Denison, died here Saturday at the home of a son, William Luscombe, after a long illness. He was born July 12, 1900 at Circleville and had lived in the Denison community 33 years. Earlier he lived at Horton and Circleville. He was a member of the Union Church and Masonic Lodge, both at Denison. He was a retired farmer. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. May Luscombe, of the home; two other sons, Paul Luscombe, Holton, and Maurice Luscombe, 3477 Clare, Topeka; four daughters, Mrs. Betty Ruth HARDY, Castro Valley, Calif., Mrs. Virginia NEWMAN, Holton, Mrs. Dolly COLE, 1600 Tara, and Mrs. Martha SALTS, 2312 W. 26th Drive, both of Topeka; two brothers, George Luscombe, Aurora, Colo., and Walter Luscombe, Wetmore; two sisters, Mrs. Louisa NISSEN, Richmond, Calif., and Mrs. Ethie TenEYCK, 111 Taylor, Topeka; and 19 grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Mercer Funeral Home at Holton. Burial will be in Circleville Cemetery.
